Fix Netflix Slowdown in 5 Easy Steps

You sit down to watch a movie, Kindle Fire in hand and the Netflix app ready go. Popcorn, soda and two hours to yourself. You open up your Kindle Fire and go to the Netflix App.
You find your movie press play and begin to watch….THEN…
…for no apparent reason, frustration builds. Whaaaat? Why? Why is it choppy? The voices don’t match up with the video? Is it your connection? Is it you? Is it “lag”? What is lag while were on the subject??
The Lowdown on Netflix and the Kindle Fire
Netflix performance issues are becoming more common with the Kindle Fire or any Android Tablet. When I first received my Kindle Fire, these issues did not exists. It played video and movies seamlessly.
Now, don’t’ get me wrong, I like my Kindle Fire. Great price. Great device. But, I do not like choppy, “laggy” video.
So, I went on a quest to find out more. To help those who are experiencing video issues. What I found was that you cannot change a whole lot on the Kindle Fire tablet. You probably already knew this. But, still, I JUST WANT TO WATCH A MOVIE!!
So how do we get the awesome performance back?
Follow these steps:
- Check your internet connection. If you have less than 3 bars, it will slow you down.
- Make sure you do not have any other WIFI dependent apps running full throttle in the background. FOR EXAMPLE: Pandora will run if you do not close it. Just tap on the top of the screen where it says “_________ Kindle”.
- IMPORTANT: From the Amazon App Store, download Android Booster from NQ Mobile.
- After the install, open the app and tap “Optimize”.
Now your Netflix app should work as expected. Should it slow down at all, just run NQ Android booster again.
